How does the creation of a website costs?

It depends what you need and the services you want to propose. For example, to build a house, you need an address (a domain name), a ground (an accommodation), and you also have to choose building materials (language), rooms(applications) and their organization(ergonomics) and to finish the interior design(graphic design). If you add a pool, it will have more style, but it will be more expensive. To sum up, you will have to choose between standard solutions and to adapt yourself, or tailor-made solutions that will be according to your needs. How to update my website?

Two solutions are possible:

  • Either you can access to the HTML files that composed your website. You have to edit this HTML file by your own, i.e. by typing the HTML code in an text file with a simple text-publisher. It is a tedious work but really efficient to understand how to make a website, and how does it work. You can also use an HTML-publisher (Dreamwaver, Homesite, Golive, Frontpage, …). It is a practical solution to make simple pages.
  • Or you website proposes a module for updating, so that you can add and modify it by your own. It is the use in 95% of cases.

 

A Flash or an HTML website?


Flash technology proposes a lot of assets in terms of ergonomics, but a big difficulty for ranking. An HTML website is the best solution for an efficient ranking, in spite of its traditional side. Setting up HTML architecture with Flash application is a great compromise that can find the optimum solution. You will get both an interactive presentation and an efficient ranking thanks to this alliance.
Updating both interfaces can be made by an xml file. You will find it in the back-office.
